The finca sits on an approximately 8,000 m² fenced estate within the Refugio del Mar – an ecologically managed olive farm with 1,500 trees – in one of the sunniest regions in Europe. Thanks to minimal light pollution, the star-filled night sky is especially impressive at night.
The Finca Palomar has been modernized to a high standard with great attention to detail. Large picture windows let in abundant light and open the view to the lush surroundings and the open sea. The spacious living and dining area with a glazed terrace and open kitchen impresses with clean lines, Canarian ceiling elements, and coherent design. The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, wine fridge, multiple coffee machines (filter, espresso maker, French press), juicer, and high-quality cookware.
The bedroom features a comfortable double bed, modern lighting, storage space, and a wonderful view of the olive trees and the sea. The stylish bathroom offers a walk-in shower with rain showerhead, a window with a sea view, and premium fittings.
In the outdoor area, you'll find several seating areas with lounge furniture and sun loungers, a warm outdoor shower, a private infinity pool (3 × 7 m) with a saltwater system, as well as a well-maintained garden beneath palm trees. The private entrance and parking space with wallbox provide maximum comfort.
Sustainability and olive farm:
The house is part of the Refugio del Mar project, which includes not only three exclusive holiday homes but also a modern oil mill, where high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil is produced from the estate's own harvest. Olive trees of the Arbequina, Picual, Arbosana, and other varieties thrive on 8 hectares of land – cultivated according to organic standards and processed on-site with short transportation routes. A photovoltaic system with 40 kWp capacity supplies clean energy to both the houses and the oil mill. Pressing residues are composted and reused as fertilizer – a closed, sustainable cycle. Guests have access to a drinking water filtration system that eliminates the need for plastic bottles.
Underfloor heating in all rooms ensures year-round comfort, while a wallbox and private parking support sustainable travel. On request, Refugio offers additional services such as a wine delivery service, organic food deliveries, and wine tastings.
