At around 773 m above sea level in a quiet side street of Puntagorda lies the stylish Casa El Peral – an architecturally exceptional holiday home with a spacious terrace, well-thought-out floor plan and special sense of space. Ideal for guests who value comfort, space and a central yet peaceful location on La Palma.
The west-facing house offers on the upper floor three bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open-plan living/dining area with fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a nearly wrap-around terrace with sea view – and below, on the ground floor, additional living and recreational spaces.
The generous living/dining area is open to the kitchen and features a high wooden ceiling under the gabled roof. A natural stone wall contrasts beautifully with the bright woodwork. Large windows and a southern panoramic front with terrace door bring in plenty of light. You’ll find a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, a fireplace and TV – perfect for relaxing.
The kitchen is of high quality and includes a large counter, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle and toaster. A utility room with extra storage makes the house ideal for longer stays.
The master bedroom is located in the southern part of the house and offers a large double bed, air conditioning and two terrace doors facing south and west. The en-suite bathroom features two sinks, a large shower and bidet. Along the hallway, large wardrobes provide plenty of storage space.
In the north-eastern wing are two further bedrooms with air conditioning: one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. Both share a second bathroom with corner bathtub and massage function, washbasin and toilet.
A staircase inside the house leads to the ground floor, which offers an additional bathroom with shower and a living room with sofa bed, bookshelf and TV. The sofa can be used as a guest bed if needed.
From here, you reach the lower terrace and BBQ area on the ground floor, which is located inside the house and therefore usable even in bad weather. This sociable space includes a large wine barrel table, further seating, grill and sink – ideal for long evenings with sea views and sunsets.
The large upper terrace wraps around most of the house (except the north side) and features several seating areas, parasol and a large dining table – with fantastic views of the Atlantic and the landscape.
The main entrance is at the same level as the parking area directly behind the house. Alternatively, the living area can also be accessed via an outdoor staircase from the lower parking space.
Thanks to the quiet yet central location in Puntagorda, supermarket, market and hiking trails are just minutes away – the perfect combination of comfort, nature and independence.
