Thanks to its unique location, the house is often situated above the clouds. During the day, fascinating light conditions arise, while at night one of the clearest skies on the island awaits you. Far away from light pollution, Casa El Algarrobo offers perfect conditions for stargazing, allowing you to admire the Milky Way and countless stars. The newly created rooftop terrace above the separate living area is a particularly special place for this experience.
The main house combines traditional Canarian charm with modern comfort. The cosy kitchen and dining area with its original wooden ceiling is fully equipped and invites you to enjoy meals together. Right next to it is the spacious bathroom with a walk-in shower, offering plenty of space and comfort.
Two bedrooms are available. The smaller bedroom with two single beds is ideal for children or friends. The master bedroom features a comfortable double bed, air conditioning with heating function and direct access to the glazed terrace with breathtaking views of the landscape and the Atlantic Ocean. All rooms have exterior windows, ensuring natural light and pleasant ventilation.
In front of the house, the glazed terrace with its cosy seating area invites you to relax. Right in front of it, there is another seating area beneath the impressive carob tree, which gave the holiday home its name and provides pleasant shade on warm days.
Since summer 2026, Casa El Algarrobo has offered another highlight: a stylish plunge pool on the terrace, perfect for cooling off on hot days. Comfortable sun loungers and an outdoor shower create the ideal atmosphere for relaxing moments with views of the surrounding nature and the Atlantic Ocean.
Right next to the main house, guests will find a practical utility room with washing machine as well as an additional room with WC and shower. This allows guests to enjoy the outdoor area and the pool without having to enter the main house every time.
A private courtyard with barbecue area offers plenty of privacy and is perfect for spending sociable evenings outdoors. Just a few steps away from the main house there is also a separate living building with a sofa, dining table and traditional Canarian wooden ceiling. This area was extensively modernised in summer 2026. The original fireplace was removed and replaced with air conditioning and heating. New aluminium windows and large glass doors provide much more daylight and improved insulation. Bright colours and modern laminate flooring create a welcoming atmosphere, offering comfort throughout the year.
Additional sun loungers in front of the house invite you to unwind. A small seating area made from wooden pallets and decorative wine barrels creates a beautiful backdrop with panoramic views across Puntagorda and the Atlantic Ocean.
Despite its peaceful and secluded location, the centre of Puntagorda, with supermarkets, restaurants, cafés and the popular weekly market, can be reached in just eight to ten minutes by car. Numerous hiking trails start nearby, making Casa El Algarrobo an ideal base for discovering the unspoilt nature of La Palma.
In summer 2026, the holiday home underwent an extensive renovation and modernisation. In addition to the new plunge pool and outdoor shower, the layout of the main house was improved to provide more privacy and comfort. The separate living area was completely redesigned and complemented by the new rooftop terrace, which is now one of the best places on the property for stargazing.
