Welcome to Villa El Hornito A, an exceptional holiday home in La Punta, Tijarafe on La Palma, enjoying one of the most spectacular locations on the entire island. Situated at just 235 m above sea level directly on the cliffs, the property offers uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean, the dramatic coastline and breathtaking sunsets. This unique location combines an outstanding climate with an extraordinary proximity to the sea and is undoubtedly one of La Palma's most special places.
Villa El Hornito consists of two nearly identical semi-detached homes. This description refers to the southern unit, El Hornito A. It is also possible to book both units together as the complete Villa El Hornito, making it an excellent choice for larger families or groups of friends travelling together.
The bright open-plan living and dining area with open kitchen forms the heart of the house. Large windows allow plenty of natural light to enter while constantly drawing your attention to the sea and coastline. A comfortable sofa provides a cozy place to relax, although most guests prefer spending their time outdoors enjoying the extraordinary surroundings.
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a gas stove, oven and a large refrigerator with freezer compartment. Everything you need for a comfortable self-catering holiday is available.
The house comfortably accommodates up to four guests. The master bedroom with double bed and a second bedroom with two single beds provide an ideal layout for couples, families or friends.
The spacious bathroom features a large walk-in shower, WC and two washbasins, offering both comfort and convenience.
In front of the house, guests can enjoy the private sea-view terrace equipped with a dining table, barbecue and sun loungers. This is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast with ocean views or a glass of wine while watching the sunset. To the south of the house, additional outdoor space is available for seating areas or extra sun loungers.
Just a few steps below the terrace lies the shared infinity pool, which is exclusively available to guests of El Hornito A and El Hornito B. The pool area offers several sunbathing spaces that are hardly visible from the neighbouring unit. The generously sized pool boasts spectacular views of the cliffs and the Atlantic Ocean. Please note that the southern section of the pool reaches a depth of approximately 1.70 m, meaning that depending on your height, standing may not be possible everywhere.
Behind the house, guests will find the private parking spaces. The final 600 metres of access are via an unpaved track that descends approximately 60 vertical metres to the property. For experienced drivers, the road is generally easy to navigate. A vehicle with slightly higher ground clearance provides additional comfort.
Due to the exceptional location directly on the cliffs, special care and supervision are recommended when travelling with young children. The spacious outdoor areas and the proximity to the ocean make this property particularly appealing to nature lovers.
Pets are welcome upon prior request and for an additional fee. This allows guests to enjoy their holiday together with their four-legged companions in the unique atmosphere of Villa El Hornito.
