“Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5 stars) We have just spent an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Amigos in Puntagorda on La Palma and are still completely enchanted. Anyone looking for peace, luxury and an incomparable view is exactly in the right place here. This villa is a real gem! Location and view: The villa is situated in an absolutely privileged location on a hillside in Puntagorda. The view over the endless Atlantic is simply breathtaking and left us speechless every single day. You feel like you are in heaven, far away from the stress of everyday life, surrounded by the wild beauty of the island and dense pine forests. The sunsets from here are legendary and an absolute highlight. The outdoor areas – An absolute dream: The heart of the villa is definitely the outdoor area. The infinity pool is spectacular and seems to merge directly into the ocean. We particularly loved that part of the pool is designed as a heated pool (hot tub) – perfect for relaxing in the evening with a glass of wine and watching the starry sky (which is incredibly clear on La Palma thanks to the light protection law!). There are several terraces and corners to relax in. The designer lounge furniture on the main terrace is not only stylish, but also super comfortable. An absolute highlight for us was the romantic four-poster bed under a modern pergola in the upper part of the property. Nestled among volcanic rock and plants typical of the island (such as succulents and dragon trees), this is the perfect place for a siesta or to quietly read a book, protected by the elegant white curtains. The villa – Modern, bright and well thought out: The villa itself is a modern architectural masterpiece. It is very clean, bright and stylishly furnished. Particularly impressive are the large floor-to-ceiling glass fronts, which bring the breathtaking sea view inside as well. Whether you are sitting at the dining table or standing in the kitchen, you always have the ocean in view. The kitchen is ultra-modern and equipped with everything!!!! you need. There is everything here! The sustainability is also worth highlighting: A large part of the terrace is covered by a modern photovoltaic system, which not only provides shade, but also shows that thought has been put into everything here. Service and hospitality: From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. A lovingly arranged fruit basket with fresh local fruit and wine glasses including 2 bottles of wine were waiting for us. Contact with the hosts was very uncomplicated, friendly and very warm. We have never had such nice hosts. You can tell that the well-being of their guests is close to their hearts. Conclusion - we travel a lot around the world. Therefore, we can say the following: Villa Amigos in Puntagorda is more than just a holiday home; it is an experience. The combination of modern luxury, absolute privacy, the brilliant infinity pool and this indescribable view makes it one of the best places where we have spent our holidays, provided you are looking for peace and quiet. We can recommend this villa without reservation and will definitely come back! Thank you for this unforgettable time!”
