The Full Moon Trail in Tijarafe is one of the most spectacular night runs in the Canary Islands. Participants set off after sunset and run under the full moonlight through ravines, forests and mountain trails – a unique combination of sport and nature.

Distances of 25 km, 14 km and 9 km are offered, as well as children’s races and the Senderismo category for hikers. The event holds the Actividad Deportiva Starlight seal, highlighting the connection between sport, sky protection and astronomy.

Spectators also enjoy a special atmosphere: Plaza de Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria becomes a lively meeting point with music, gastronomy and community spirit. The Full Moon Trail is not only a sporting highlight but also a cultural experience marking autumn in La Palma.

The Benemérita Bike is both a sporting and social event on La Palma. Starting point is Santa Cruz de La Palma, with the finish in Los Llanos de Aridane on the west side of the island. Along the route, participants enjoy impressive coastal and mountain views.

The focus is not only on sport but also on solidarity: instead of a registration fee, a food donation is requested, which is distributed to families in need. The cycling tour combines exercise, solidarity and community spirit – making it attractive to both locals and visitors.
