Mirador Las Cabezadas in La Palma – Hidden viewpoint with panoramic views over the Valle de Aridane

In fact, this is not just a single viewpoint. Along the short access path there are three small viewpoints located at different elevations. The Mirador Las Cabezadas is located above the district of La Punta in the municipality of Tijarafe on the west side of La Palma. The viewpoint is situated only a few minutes above the well-known Mirador El Time. From Los Llanos de Aridane the area can be reached in about 15 minutes via the road towards Tijarafe. However, it is not possible to drive directly to the viewpoint. The final stretch follows a beautiful short hiking path that runs through the landscape above La Punta. Alternatively, there is also a steep concrete track leading towards the viewpoint. Many visitors combine the stop with a short walk or a small hike along the edge of the barranco. This short access route is exactly what keeps the place so peaceful – a viewpoint that is far less visited than many others on the island.
