Gastronomic Fair “Sabores del Noreste”

The popular fair in the island’s northeast is dedicated to the Cochino Negro de La Palma – the traditional Canarian black pig breed.
Local restaurants offer creative tapas, pork specialties, cheese, wine and pastries made from regional produce.
The event celebrates gastronomy, culture and community – accompanied by live music, local stalls and tastings in the open air.

Weather, Sea & Hiking
Daytime highs usually range between 21 and 24 °C, but during Calima episodes temperatures can rise to 29 °C.
Nights cool down to 15–18 °C. The sea remains pleasantly warm at 22–24 °C – perfect for swimming or snorkelling,
especially at the beaches of Tazacorte and Puerto Naos.
November is ideal for hikers: mild temperatures, clear visibility and fresh vegetation. Recommended trails include Cubo de la Galga, Marcos y Cordero, Los Tilos, the Caldera Circuit and the Volcano Route in the south. Bring layered clothing and sturdy shoes, especially for higher elevations.
Since 1 November 2025 the new connecting road between La Laguna and Las Manchas has officially opened, significantly reducing travel time to the south and Fuencaliente.
Notice: From 17 November to 15 December 2025 access to the Mirador de la Cumbrecita in the Caldera de Taburiente National Park will be completely closed for resurfacing works. Info & reservations: reservasparquesnacionales.es
